Foot and Ankle Surgery
The Surgical interventions of Dr. Böhr take place in long-standing partnerships with excellent clinics and anesthetists: The outpatient operation takes place in Tagesklinik am Kudamm, just towntown Berlin at Kurfürstendamm 61. For inpatient surgery, Dr. Böhr cooperates with Klinik Sanssouci, an award winning private clinic in the heart of Potsdam.
For pre-OP diagnostics we recommend our experienced general practitioner. The surgical aftercare takes place in the facility of our private practice in Berlin-Zehlendorf and is professionally supported by our inhouse physiotherapy partners. Our Practice is conveniently located in Berlin-Zehlendorf and easily accessible by car and public transport. Please note the clinic entrance is via Schillerstraße (see map).

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Böhr?
No referral is required. As a private practice, ORTHO | PEDE accepts patients directly. Private health insurance patients, self-paying patients and international patients can book an appointment directly by phone or via our online booking system.
Does Dr. Böhr treat patients with statutory health insurance (GKV)?
Patients with statutory health insurance are welcome as self-paying patients. For outpatient consultations, fees are billed according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). For inpatient surgery, an increasing number of statutory insurers cover costs on request — please contact us for details.
Which languages are spoken at the practice?
Our multicultural team currently offers consultations in German and English. If you have specific cultural or linguistic requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Where does surgery take place?
Outpatient procedures take place at Tagesklinik am Kudamm in central Berlin. Inpatient surgery is performed at Klinik Sanssouci, an award-winning private clinic in Potsdam. All surgical procedures are performed personally by Dr. Böhr.
How do I prepare for my first appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your registration forms. If available, bring any prior imaging (X-ray, DVT, MRI), previous medical reports, orthotics or assistive devices, and a valid photo ID. You can download our new patient registration form from our website in advance.
